Abernethy employs over 100 people at our four Christian Adventure Centres in Scotland. Being part of the Abernethy team is rewarding and enjoyable - we currently have opportunities in a variety of departments working indoors and outside. We have long-term full time opportunities, short-term positions, part time roles and year out programmes for people from the UK and overseas.

Our primary focus is to share the Christian faith with our guests, the majority of whom are aged 10-18, so applicants are required to be in sympathy with this aim, and able to participate in our nightly Christian programme with enthusiasm.

What we offer

Most positions are live-in, offering a special community atmosphere at our centres. We provide accommodation and meals, plus a salary. Paid annual leave is provided for all long-term positions. You also have the opportunity to use the centre's facilities, and take part in exciting adventurous activities should you wish to do so.

As an 'Investor in People', we offer opportunities for professional development, both internally and through the provision of external courses.

Our centres

Abernethy Nethybridge
Located in the Cairngorms National Park, Abernethy Nethybridge has a great location for year round adventure including winter snowsports. Superb facilities include an indoor swimming pool and a sports centre.

Abernethy Ardgour
A breathtaking loch-side location on Scotland's rugged west coast makes Abernethy Ardgour a truly awe-inspiring place. The centre runs a range of outdoor instructor training courses as well as holidays and courses for groups and schools.

Abernethy Ardeonaig
Sitting high above Loch Tay in Highland Perthshire, Abernethy Ardeonaig offers an array of activities both on and off-site in this stunning location. The centre offers comfortable accommodation and great facilities including a sports hall and a high ropes course.

Abernethy Barcaple
Surrounded by the rolling Galloway hills in Kirkudbrightshire, Abernethy Barcaple is our southernmost property and is ideally located to offer an exciting variety of activities on water and on dry land. The beautiful grounds are home to a great selection of adventure activities and challenges.
