AEON is dedicated to the success and advancement of its students. Furthermore, AEON is dedicated to helping its teachers grow professionally as well as personally. The training and work experience at AEON allows individuals to leave Japan with real skills which will be useful to them in whatever profession they choose to pursue.

AEON has earned a strong reputation for quality lessons, and the surest way to protect and enhance that reputation is through the efficient and effective training of their teachers. After all, a school can only be as good as its teachers. AEON's excellent training system and educational support staff of experienced and professional teachers have successfully helped new teachers to adapt and develop rapidly. Teachers receive a week of Initial Training upon their arrival in Japan at an AEON Training Center.

Teachers have the opportunity to teach demonstration lessons during training with the support and feedback of their trainers and fellow trainees. Once at their schools, their teachers receive additional on-the-job training. Observing the lessons of other teachers, attending informational meetings with the Manager and Head Teacher, and receiving an orientation to the school and its procedures are all part of a new teacher's first few weeks on the job. During this period, AEON does its very best to help teachers make a smooth transition into their new lives.

At AEON, there is an emphasis not only on the academic qualifications of the teaching staff, but also on their personal qualifications. AEON selects teachers from all over the world, bringing a diversity of culture to our classrooms in Japan. While learning the English language, our students enjoy and benefit from their interaction with their teachers.

Although the diversity and the individuality of each of our foreign staff members are important, there are certain qualities shared by all of our foreign teaching staff: professionalism, flexibility, respect, organization, creativity, perseverance, and most importantly, enthusiasm. During the teacher selection process, successful candidates display all of these qualities.
