Company background
What do we do? Most of our camps run for a four-week period during the summer school holidays with a few opening over Easter as well. Most of our staff at the Easter camps are returners from the previous summer.
Our locations Ascot, Barnet, Bedford, Bishop's Stortford, Brentwood, Bromley, Chelmsford, Chislehurst, Cobham, Croydon, Farnham, Hemel Hempstead, Hertford, High Wycombe, Horsham, Huntingdon, Hutton, Kimbolton, Northwood, Norwich, Sevenoaks, Twickenham, Upminster, Welwyn, Wokingham & Woodford. Each location is unique in it’s facilities, size and surroundings. Although the camps use the same procedures and policies, your daily routine and experience will vary with the above factors.
1. What are we looking for? We have ten different levels of seasonal positions available from Group Assistant to Camp Manager , some of which require experience and qualifications but for the majority we can provide training courses. Please look through the full job posts for specific information and requirements for each position.
2. What is our focus?
Broken down it is quite a task, ‘every child’, ‘an amazing experience’, ‘they can’t wait to come back’ and as we had about 13,000 child weeks in 2005 it is understandable why it needs to be focused on all throughout the year.
3. How do we work?
Everyone who works at the Central Office is committed to these in everything we do. They form part of our appraisal system and the quarterly ‘Company Health Check’. We have been organising activity camps for 14 years and have 14 years worth of experience employing staff for our camps. We have achieved Investors in People status for our commitment to staff training and development, communication and integration for all members of staff. |
