Cheltenham Racecourse

The prestigious Cheltenham Racecourse is the home of National Hunt Racing and host to the famous Cheltenham National Hunt Festival. There are 8 race meetings through the winter season which vary from between one and four days each along with numerous other events and functions throughout the year. The new "Centaur" building has recently opened and is the biggest venue in the south west for conferences, exhibitions and concerts.

The Cheltenham Racing Season runs from October to early May. The main event is The Festival 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th March 2009 which is one of the biggest race events in a year attracting over 60,000 people on any given day.

Getting to Cheltenham

The nearest station to the racecourse is Cheltenham Spa, which is on the main Bristol - Birmingham line. There is also a regular bus service.

Travel will be provided from various locations, and incentives are available for lifts and car sharers.
