Churchill House School of Language has been providing quality English courses for overseas students for 37 years. As well as the main school in Ramsgate, Churchill House also runs summer courses for Children, Juniors and Young Adults in different locations in the UK.
All the summer schools offer something different and individual to our customers, but in each centre we are dedicated to providing the highest possible standard of customer care to ensure that our students get the maximum benefit and enjoyment from their stay in England.
Churchill House Summer School staff have a wide variety of skills from English Language teaching and academic management to experience of teaching Art, Drama, Sport and Music. Although all Churchill House staff have the required qualifications and experience, their most important asset is their genuine desire to ensure that Churchill House students have a summer they will never forget.
Ramsgate is a picturesque seaside town on the south east coast of England in Kent, 'the Garden of England'. Near to some of the UK's most beautiful countryside, Ramsgate has a long sandy beach, attractive marina and historic harbour. Ramsgate is a safe and peaceful place to study away from the noise and pollution of the big city. It is the ideal place to enjoy a Summer Vacation course. Churchill House School is in a 19th century square overlooking the sea within easy walking distance of the town centre.
Aldenham School was founded more than 400 years ago and stands on its own original site in more than 110 acres of glorious Hertfordshire countryside to the north west of London. Queen Elizabeth 1 gave permission for the school to be built and the Foundation Stone was laid in 1597! At this school ‘old tradition' is mixed with the best modern facilities.
Ampleforth College was established in 1802 and adjoins the Benedictine monastery and abbey of St Laurence in a stretch of magnificent Yorkshire countryside, close to York. Ampleforth is part of the southern boundary of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Ampleforth is one of the leading independent schools in the UK with wonderful facilities and a high standard of accommodation.
Prior Park College, established in 1830, is superbly positioned on a hill overlooking the magnificent spa town of Bath. The college buildings are constructed, like most of Bath, from the local honey coloured limestone and adjoining the College are 57 acres of landscaped garden designed by Capability Brown, once part of the school, and now owned by the National Trust. Prior Park is one of the landmarks of Bath. Residential and homestay options are available.
Frensham Heights School set in grounds of a hundred plus acres, is an imposing Edwardian mansion house, with glorious views across National Trust woods and farm land. An hour from the centre of London, forty minutes from Heathrow, thirteen miles south west of Guildford and three miles south of Farnham, it is both close to towns, easy to get to and yet in stunning countryside. Trent College is located in beautiful grounds of over 45 acres in the town of Long Eaton near the City of Nottingham in the heart of England. Founded in 1866, Trent is a school with a rich heritage and traditions spanning 140 years.
It has excellent road and rail links to London and the rest of the UK. At this centre both residential and homestay options are available and with its fantastic facilities it makes a perfect summer vacation destination for English language students.
Royal School is a traditional English boarding school set in acres of woodland in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Her Majesty the Queen is the patron of the school. It is an 'oasis' of green and yet is only minutes from central Croydon with very easy access to central London and its world famous attractions. With spacious playing fields and a university style campus atmosphere the school provides a wonderful environment for a summer vacation English language course.
