EAC offers a warm welcome and personal service at each of our centres throughout the UK. EAC courses are accredited by the British Council and we are members of English UK. Our centres are based at carefully selected venues - university campuses, private colleges and boarding schools that offer high standards of welfare with comfortable and modern facilities.

EAC is an established and thriving business based in the heart of Edinburgh with plentiful opportunities for those who wish to work during our summer season throughout the UK whether its in English Language tuition or childcare.

Junior Vacation Courses

Our summer schools cater for children aged 9-18 and offer a variety of programmes, which combine English Language lessons with a variety of excursions and activities on site and around the local area.

The academic focus of the course is on developing communication skills, in particular speaking and listening. We aim to provide the students with the maximum opportunitiy to improve their language performance for social interaction and functional purposes. With these objectives in mind, EAC course materials reflect a student-centred interactive approach to learning with an emphasis on functional topics.

Lessons are 15 hours per week (20 lessons of 45 minutes each). Students are tested on arrival and taught according to ability.
