About JCA
For the majority of children, their school activity holiday is an experience of a lifetime and one that they will never forget. Unlike many other companies, JCA instructors work with one group of children for their whole stay. This way the children build up a trusting relationship, which gives them the confidence to try new challenges and to extend themselves beyond their expectations. It is such a great feeling when a child who was terrified of heights overcomes their fears and scales the climbing tower as a direct result of your encouragement - at JCA we recognise that our instructors have the potential to change lives! But we don't just have a huge positive impact on the children that travel with us - over the years, we have changed adults lives also - after one season with JCA many people who came to us as instructors have made dramatic changes in their lives - going on to achieve wonderful things - they have never looked back! We know that our training programme is the most comprehensive and fun opportunity in the business and it's all completely FREE We don't expect you to have any previous experience - just a whole lot of enthusiasm! A 3-week pre-season training course that offers National Governing Body (NGB) qualifications in all relevant activities, full in-house training in all others and an Accredited Training Programme in a range of transferable skills. You'll have loads of fun learning new skills and meeting new like-minded people but at the end of it, we guarantee you'll be totally prepared to take your place as a JCA instructor.
