Jockey Club Racecourses is a subsidiary of the Jockey Club which was founded in 1777. We recruit all year round for hospitality staff at some of the most famous courses in the UK.

We have vacancies for part time and temporary waiters, bar staff, porters, cashiers and general assistants on racedays and at corporate and entertainment events throughout the year.


Aintree, Lancashire
Aintree in Liverpool, is one of the world's most famous racecourses, and home to the Grand National in April. Six additional race days take place from October to June, and the venue regularly host events throughout the year, including live music concerts.

Carlisle, Cumbria
Racing takes at place at Carlisle from February to December. The Carlisle Bell and Cumberland Plate trophies, held in June, are highlights of their season. The racecourse is located only 2 miles from the city centre, with good road and rail links.

Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
Cheltenham Racecourse is the home of the famous Cheltenham National Hunt Festival, which takes place in March and is one of the biggest race events of the year. Additional races take place from October to early May. The racecourse is within easy access of Bath, Bristol and Gloucester, and is situated close to Cheltenham Spa station.

Epsom Downs, Surrey
The racing calendar at Epsom Downs includes one of the highlights of the British Summer, The Derby Festival in June. Racing also takes place from April until October. The course is easily accessible from London, with regular trains from Victoria and Waterloo, and is close to the M25.

Exeter, Devon
Exeter holds 15 jump fixtures between October and May, and one in August. November's William Hill Haldon Gold Cup Day and the popular New Year's Day fixture are highlights of their racing calendar. Situated close to Newton Abbot and Exeter, the racecourse can be reached via regular bus services and Exeter St Davids train station.

Haydock Park, Merseyside
Racing takes places at Haydock Park all year round, with the Betfair Chase, held in November, as a season highlight and a signature event for the North West Masters National Hunt Festival. The racecourse is situated in the heart of the North West, close to Wigan and within easy reach of St Helens and Bolton.

Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
Huntingdon Racecourse is situated in the heart of the Cambridgeshire countryside, and is home to 18 jump race meetings taking place from August until May. The course is less than five minutes from Huntingdon and easily accessible from Cambridge, Peterborough and Bedford.

Kempton Park, Surrey
Situated in Sunbury-on-Thames, Kempton Park, is London's premier all-weather racing and entertainment venue. Racing takes place all year round and includes afternoon and evening fixtures, as well as floodlit night racing. The course also hosts regular comedy and music events. The racecourse has it's own on site station with a regular train service from Waterloo.

Market Rasen, Lincolnshire
Market Rasen hosts 23 fixtures througout the year, including the Totesport Listed Summer Plate in July. The racecourse is easily accessible from Lincoln, Grimsby and Scunthorpe, and is situated 10 minutes from Market Rasen train station.

Newmarket, Suffolk
Newmarket is the historic Home of Horseracing, and on Champions Day in October stages 6 of the most important races in the International calendar. Additional races are held here between April and November. The racecourse is situated close to both Newmarket and Cambridge, with a regular train service running from Ipswich.

Nottingham, Nottinghamshire
Racing at Nottingham takes place from April through to November, and includes weekend and weekday evening fixtures. The racecourse is situated only two miles from the city centre, and close to Nottingham Midland Station. With good rail and road links, the course is easily accessible from Derby, Loughborough and Mansfield.

Sandown Park, Surrey
Sandown Park's exceptional facilities make it one of the top racecourses in the UK. The racecourse hosts year-round race meetings and events, including the Coral Eclipse in July and Tingle Creek in December. Situated in Esher, the course is close to Esher station which has regular train services from Clapham Junction and Waterloo.

Warwick, Warwickshire
Racing takes place 12 months of the year with 23 fixtures, including the Tote Classic Chase in Janauary and the Kingmaker Novices Chase Day in February. The racecourse is situated on the outskirts of Warwick and close to Royal Leamington Spa. With good rail and road links, it is within easy reach of Coventry, Solihull and Stratford Upon Avon.

Wincanton, Somerset
Wincanton racecourse hosts 17 fixtures from October to May, and highlights include Connaught Cup Day in January, Kingwell Day in February and Badger Ales Chase Day in November. The racecourse is situated between Wincanton and Bruton, and easily accessible from Shepton Mallet, Shaftsbury and Yeovil.
