The Chalet

Chalet Bear is one of the last remaining log chalets in Klosters. Within easy walking distance of the lifts, it is situated in the village, up a little rise, with sensational views across the valley. Lovingly restored in 2005/6, it now provides luxurious state of the art bathrooms and kitchen, cosy sitting rooms and bedrooms within its 'chocolate box' exterior.

The Resort

Klosters is unique. With its enviable snow record it offers some of the longest runs (12km) and most exciting skiing in the world. Long a favourite with European Royal families (including Prince Charles) and with an international clientele, it has opted to remain a very welcoming, traditional Swiss village, catering to families who return generation after generation; small, low-key, exclusive and away from the tourist main market.

Klosters is proud of its many (40) restaurants and cosy mountain huts, it offers a great spa, winter polo on snow in January, and, for children, the very popular Mardens Club Junior Training (ages 6-14 and must be able to go down the slope unaided) in March or April. With the House of Commons v the House of Lords and Parsenn Derby races, a golf course and tennis in the summer, Klosters has much to offer.
