About us

Lolokids is a large, well-established and expanding young learner organisation based in the east of China. It has multiple centres in the city of Shanghai and several regional centres around the region, thus offering a choice of location. It provides training to all new employees and equips them with its own developed courses and materials.

Teaching in China

China has adopted English learning in a big way and in China that does mean 'big'. Ability to speak English is seen as a passport to a successful future in a country that is focussed on the future. China has recently started a massive initiative to train up their existing English teachers and produce more.

The cost of living is still low so a salary of 4500 yuan will produce a reasonable standard of living especially as eating out is so cheap. Shanghai and Beijing are appreciably more expensive than smaller cities.
