Join our team at the Theatre of Dreams Catering event day staff The conference and banqueting team at Manchester United are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our event day team helping to enhance the match-day experience of the 76,000 visitors for each game, the 250,000 museum visitors each year and the numerous guests who attend functions within the conference and banqueting facilities. There are approximately 35 matches during the season as well as conference and banqueting activity. As a member of the conference and banqueting team working front of house with our guests, or, in a support role with the back of house team you will Come to work correctly dressed and well presented Possess a polite and courteous manner and be happy to work in a customer service environment Be enthusiastic and friendly Enjoy working as part of a team Have a 'can-do' attitude Possess good communication and social skills, have good command of English and be happy working with colleagues and guests at all levels Live within easy access of the stadium Experience in a catering environment is not essential as you will be asked to attend an induction, our 'Passport to Work' training and will also receive training specific to your role. Uniform is provided as are all meals on duty. Manchester United also operates an innovative staff points league where each individual or team can win prizes. There are also ‘spot’ prizes awarded at each match.
