Hotel Chalet Matsuzaka is a member of the Hotels-Chalets de Tradition. An independent relatively new hotel (2006) of 10 rooms and a Japanese Spa currently under classing to become a 4 star hotel before this next winter season. The inspiration for the hotel came from the owners (Mike & Faye Jones) 5 year stay in Japan where they stayed in many hotels/pensions in the Japanese Alps, and developed the idea of a Japanese Spa for the French Alps. Coming from international quality backgrounds in industry, we pride ourselves on excellent personal service and meetings the high demands of our multi-nationality clientele. Operating as a small closely-knit team of 4 people (the owners, the chef and a house-keeper) we aim to ensure the hotel is managed very much hands-on, in a friendly, happy, and sophisticated but family orientated environment. La RosiereLa Rosière 1850 is a well kept secret. South facing, between forest and mountain meadows, on a spectacular balcony with stunning 180 degree views. Linked with La Thuile in Italy, La Rosière offers an international ski area of 150km pisted ski runs. |
