Purple Ski have been operating in the in the Three Valleys Since 1992. Their aim is to ensure that their guests have the best possible skiing holiday, on and off the slopes.
Keeping the business intentionally small and 'special', the emphasis in all their chalets is on service and cuisine above the norm. Each chalet has its own professional chef, who produce some of the best cuisine to be found anywhere in the valley, along with at least one chalet girl/boy to assist them and also a driver to whisk customers to and from the slopes and generally help make sure that their holiday is as stress-free as possible.
Working for Purple Ski
Purple Ski is a privately owned company, providing quality catered chalet holidays in Méribel, France. We intentionally have just a handful of luxury chalets and generally sleeping around 10-13 people, to enable us to focus on providing a high quality and individual service.
With 16 years of experience, we know that our staff are critical to being successful, so we are looking for enthusiastic, energetic and professional people to join us and help maintain and build on our excellent standards and reputation.
We take pride not only in making sure that our guests have the best possible skiing holiday, but also on being a great company to work for. We hire people based on their skills, experience and attitude and expect the highest standards of work from them, but in return, we make sure that they are well rewarded (we think we offer better pay, conditions and accommodation than most) and get to spend the most time possible enjoying themselves. Which is why many of our staff come back to us year after year.
The Resort
Though Méribel has grown into one of the great ski resorts and is at the heart of the largest and, for many, the finest ski area in the world, it has remained faithful, to this day, to Peter Lindsay's aims. All the buildings in the town are constructed in the traditional Savoyarde style from wood and stone, making Méribel one of the most attractive ski resorts in France.
There is something for everyone in Méribel, convivial bars and every type of restaurant, from the Michelin Starred to the simple, offering crêpes and traditional Savoyarde cuisine. For non-skiers and skiers alike there are plenty of non-skiing diversions. There are many scenic walks around Méribel and Mottaret and many of the mountain restaurants can be accessed from the gondolas. |
