About us
Reach4theAlps is an independent company, run by myself Gina & husband Marcus Ewart, we specialise in winter skiing and snow boarding holidays and are based in the ski resorts of Morzine, Les Gets and Montriond which form part of the massive Portes Du Soleil ski area. This season coming will be our 7th season running Reach4thealps and we now have a portfolio of 5 high quality catered chalets. We live out in France all year round and work extremely hard at making out business work by ensuring guests and staff are happy & well looked after, that and having 2 young kids keeps us busy! Due to the time and effort we put in personally & the great staff we employ each season (many coming back to work 2 or 3 seasons) we have a very high client repeat rate with about 60-70% of guests being repeat each year. Our ChaletsWe have 2 chalets, Alouette and Martinet in Les Gets in a great location only 300m from the nearest chairlift. Each chalet run by a Chalet Host & then there is also a Driver/Ski guide/Plongeur who works between the 2 chalets. Staff accommodation is next door to the chalets. In Morzine centre we have Chalet Aux Joux (sleeps 12-13 and run by a couple or 2 friends). Also in Morzine and brand new this season Cairn Lodge (sleeps 14-16 run by a couple with additional help from a Driver/Ski Guide/Plongeur) and just outside of Morzine in Montriond we have Brown Bear Lodge (sleeps 14-18 & again run by a couple with additional help from a Driver/Ski Guide/Plongeur). We pride ourselves on a truly personal service from Marcus and I and our staff, a high standard of accommodation at affordable prices, excellent cuisine and attention to detail. We also run a transfer service in our luxury mini-buses to and from Geneva airport. Generally our weeks run Sunday to Sunday but we do also sometimes offer short stay breaks. Our StaffWe realize you can have the best chalets in the Alps but without great staff running them it just won't work! We are looking for candidates who want to work for a small independent company where you are part of a small supportive team and where hard work and going the extra mile is really appreciated. We run a comprehensive pre season training week involving the chalet hosts practicing the menus (input encouraged), driving & cleaning training and generally getting to know the resort, the chalets and each other! We are always on hand in resort for support and regularly visit the chalets to visit guests and staff but are happy to leave staff to get on with their job and not interfere in the nitty gritty as long as guests feedback is positive! |
