Seafarer Holidays are widely recognised as leading specialists in Flotilla and Beach Club holidays. We also offer a wide range of bareboat and skippered charters, and learn to sail courses, including RYA yachting courses through our Seafarer Sailing School. For those that don't wish to sail themselves we offer cabin charter on yachts and on our Small Ship cruises, as well as land based holidays through our sister company Best of Travel. Our Flotillas in Greece, Turkey, Croatia and the Caribbean provide our guests with the chance to sail their own yachts with support from our Lead Crew. Our crews provide briefings, mooring assistance and social events, as well as helping to prepare the yachts for each trip. Guests can sail at their own pace and can even head off on their own for a few days. These holidays appeal to everyone from the less experienced crews (though as responsible sailors ourselves, we don’t let complete novice skippers sail alone) to round the world sailors looking for an easy way to explore a new area or meet new people. Our Beach Clubs provide an ideal family holiday with excellent facilities and we are introducing two new locations for 2011. The Clubs cater for a maximum of 60 Seafarer guests, enabling us to offer the friendly relaxed atmosphere that is our hallmark Equipment ranges from beginners’ dinghies to Dart catamarans, with a variety of windsurf boards and rigs, and yachts also available. A range of other activities such as tennis, crazy golf and swimming pools are also available. The Clubs are sited close to our flotilla bases, making combines Beach Club and Flotilla holidays a popular choice. To make all this happen, we need top quality staff. Our guests are from diverse backgrounds, spanning all age ranges, and with differing expectations. So you’ll need to personalise the service you give them and be good at dealing with people, both the easy going and the more demanding. We aim to keep the holiday atmosphere informal and flexible, which means you'll have to be organised and self disciplined. Those who like creative problem solving, and who prefer taking responsibility over passing the buck, will enjoy the opportunities we offer. You'll be working closely with our team in the UK, and with our local suppliers, with great opportunities to learn about local life and enhance your technical, business and sailing skills. Job specific training is provided at the start of season. Our staff make the difference between our guests having a good time, and a great one. The work can be hard but is rewarding and great fun. And you'll have the reassurance of knowing you're not just a number to us, but part of a close knit team. |
