Stubbers Adventure Centre is an outdoor
adventure centre, offering one day and residential courses
for schools, youth groups and clubs, as well as team building courses,
childrens holiday activities and childrens and adult activity
parties.
About Us:
Every year we recruit staff to join our team of enthuastic and dedicated activity and watersports instructors. There are currently vacancies for local freelance staff and live-in instructors. Residential staff are provided with on-site accommodation.
We have been serving the schools of
Essex, London and Hertfordshire for over 20 years. Offering a range of
outdoor activities to students of all ages.
Single sessions of 90 minutes, half and full days are extremely
popular. Many schools bring the team for the whole week taking
advantage of our excellent accommodation and catering options.
We also offer regular courses such as:
Sailing RYA Level 1 and 2, Jet Ski User (PWC), Powerboat Level 2, Quad
Biking and BCU Kayak Courses
During a typical summer day we have over 300
children enjoying our holiday activity days, a range of adult courses
running and a team building event taking place within the beautiful
Stubbers grounds.
Facilities:
We have a climbing and abseiling tower, a
high ropes course, a tunnel challenge, 3 lakes, archery, fencing, and
rifle ranges, as well as a challenging 4x4 course.
Our exciting sessions cover a range of
activities such as: Sailing, Wobbly Boarding, Kayaking, Open Canoeing,
Bell Boating, Jet Ski Rides, Banana Rides, Raft Building, Challenge
Course, Team Challenges, Climbing, Abseiling, High Ropes Course,
Mountain Boarding, Archery, Rifle Shooting, Tunnelling, Orienteering,
Quad Biking and Fencing.
Location:
The centre is ideally situated to the North East of London where the
suburbs become greenbelt countryside. Even so Upminster tube station is
only 5 minutes from the centre and 25 minutes from London on the
District Line. The 370 bus stops right outside the main gate. The M25
is a mere 10 minutes drive away leaving at junction 29 and the Dartford
crossing a short 15-minute drive.
