Work at The Championships, Wimbledon

FMC is proud to be the Official Caterer to The Championships, Wimbledon. As you'd expect from directors who've been catering together at Wimbledon for 20 years, we're passionate about Europe's largest and most prestigious event.

Wimbledon is the largest single annual sporting catering operation in Europe, and all the catering is undertaken by Facilities Management Catering Limited.

FMC employs some 1,600 staff during the Wimbledon fortnight in a variety of roles, including Managers, Chefs, Waiting Staff, Bar Staff & Back of House Staff. For more details on the roles then please click on the link at the left of the page and view the vacancies online.

If you haven't worked at the Championships before, please be sure to read the information in this section before you apply.

At FMC we do our best to support the people whose help we rely on throughout this fortnight. In the following section you'll find information on subjects that we are frequently asked questions about.

What are the event dates?

The engagement period for The Championships 2008 is Saturday 21st June - 6th July inclusive. You will need to be available for the whole period. The middle Sunday is usually a day off for many areas, but you must be available to work should the order of play and the weather dictate. We require a number of staff to work from May - mid-July, so please indicate on your application the earliest dates you are available.

Uniform

FMC takes great pride in the personal presentation of the teams at Wimbledon. We are frequently complimented on how our staff look. We invest a lot of time and money in our uniforms to ensure that they are not just smart and practical but also pleasant to wear. We wash and iron them for you and you can replace them as often as you need to.

All we ask of you is that you take great care to wear the uniform correctly and with pride.
